Creation Fest 2006

Creation West will be held at the Gorge Amphitheater in 2006. The Gorge Amphitheater is located near the small town of George in central Washington. The amphitheater is absolutely breathtaking. It is carved from the basalt cliffs that overlook the magnificent Columbia River gorge. The seemingly always deep blue sky and gorgeous weather are some of the many reasons that Pollstar Magazine lists the Gorge Amphitheater as the Nation’s BEST outdoor concert venue.

Whether you are on the grassy hillside or up close, a huge video screen ensures that you will not miss any part of the festivities taking place on the main stage. Each day’s program starts promptly at 9 A.M. with an intimate time of worship and continues throughout the day, offering a variety of activities. Each day’s activities come to a close at 11:30 PM, but if you are one of the many night owls in attendance you can check out the festival’s late night clubs until 1 AM.

Creation West offers low cost on-site camping for those in attendance. Nearly everyone takes advantage of this time of friendship and fellowship and the result is a unique, inviting, and peaceful atmosphere. While the sites are somewhat primitive, the festival does offer showers, toilets, and shuttle buses. If “roughing it” isn’t your thing, there are campsites with full hookups as well as hotels available in the area.

Safety is also a top priority at Creation West. The medical facility is always staffed with qualified doctors and nurses. They are available 24 hours per day to those in attendance. Security patrols also take place throughout each day and night ensuring that the camping and staging areas are always secure.
