Jesus said, “I am the way, the Truth and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” (John 14:6). This poses a serious problem for 250 million people living in the Middle East who have yet to know God’s love.

• Less than 2% of mission resources worldwide are currently devoted to the      Middle East.

In February 2008, a team from SCC journeyed to the Middle East to experience God’s heart for the region, to see the Holy Spirit at work, and to determine how SCC can be a part of His vision for the future of the Middle East. Team members settled into the rhythm of Middle Eastern life. They shared meals, worshipped, and prayed with Middle Eastern families. They met with and shared the joys and tribulations of the movers and shakers of Middle East Ministry, interacted with people on the streets, visited the urban poor, elementary schools, production studios, native churches, and spent time in local mosques.

The conclusion?  The Holy Spirit is alive and well in the Middle East. The windows of opportunity are many. The people are hungry for God’s love.
