Message from Chairman of the Board Rev. Bruce Robertson

"...welcome to Missions Fest 2006. This conference is designed to get wheels turning. As the God of history met the patriarchs in certain situations and locations, so the Vancouver Trade and Convention Centre will become a place of personal revelation and calling as we meet in the name of the One who promised His presence with us to the end of the age. Make no mistake, He will be among us.
Often the dynamic difference between involvement and passivity is simply some sort of catalyst."

"Our prayer is that Missions Fest 2006 will be a catalyst that will prompt us all to be on the road of life, not in the balcony. The balcony is a state of the heart in which it seems permissible to be uninvolved, to evaluate and even criticize. The road, on the other hand, is where the dust and confusion is, where the cry and pain of the wounded and lost can be heard as they stumble their way toward eternity. But here too, we can hear the voice of One who walks the road with us and summons His disciples to serve and give and go.
That the world is in dire need, we all know. The question is, what are we (am I) to do? Listen for the Lord's voice in these days and obey."
