Noel House
Noel House Programs provide safe and comfortable shelter for a diverse
community of homeless women, particularly those most vulnerable. Noel
House provides shelter, a nightly meal, and referral services to
homeless women. Located in Seattle's Belltown neighborhood, Noel House
is a direct provider of essential services to women in need.
Noel House
creates an environment of dignity, respect and compassion
and recognizes the intrinsic value of every woman and honors her
unique experience.
As a program of the Archdiocesan Housing Authority, Noel House Programs
began as an emergency shelter for homeless single women in response to
the severe winter of 1990. Continuing to respond to the needs of
Seattle's most vulnerable homeless population, Noel House has created
a comprehensive continuum of care for homeless, single women in
Seattle.
Volunteers are needed to provide meals at the downtown shelter and to
be companiions for women staying in overflow shelters, such as the one
at Woodland Park Presbyterian church. For more information about
volunteering, please contact Ellen Yoon.
