Greetings from Guatemala!
In January we had the privilege of hosting several teams that helped us get the year off to a great start! In total we were able to provide 4 new homes to needy families in the Labor de Falla, Cerro Alto and Bola de Oro communities. The teams also constructed ONIL stoves, conducted VBS and provided a dental clinic for 4 days in Labor de Falla! Last month our CRI family celebrated the miracle of hearing for Diana Espana! The video on the right captures her cochlear implant being turned on for the first time! The Espana family and all of us at CRI are so thankful for the Lord's provision! One new project that we are very excited about is our water filters! We started in December, providing each home that we build with a Sawyer water filter. We are asking the family to commit to share this clean water source with their neighbors as well. In this way we are able to go to the source of many of the medical problems that we treat that are due to dirty water sources. The Sawyer filter is an amazing product and at a cost of $60, it is our lowest cost project and it has an amazing impact for the communities that we serve. There will be a training event for the Sawyer water filters on February 22, hosted by Pastor Sam Glenn and Water with Blessings: Community Church of God 700 Clayton Ave Georgetown, KY 502-863-6157 Thank you so much for your partnership in the Gospel. Together we are making disciples in Guatemala and seeing the Kingdom of God advanced. In His service, Fontaine & Paula Greene
