SCC BUNCO Night
Join us for SCC BUNCO Night on Friday, January 23rd. Everyone is invited for this inter-generational game night of laughter, play, and fun prizes! Join us at 6:30 PM for a Pizza Dinner or join us at 7 PM as we start in on the real fun of BUNCO! If you're not sure what BUNCO is, don't worry! The Youth & Young Adults will teach you. BUNCO is an easy and fun game perfect for all ages, so bring the whole family! It'll be a great chance to mix and mingle and get to know others at SCC of all ages. Bright Scholars International Trip
Join Bright Scholars International on a trip to Cambodia! Visit students sponsored by BSI and learn how God is working in their lives and in their communities. The trip is from 3/21 to 3/28, and the cost is approximately $2000. If interested, please contact Ellen Yoon for more information.
SCC July Camping
Join us this summer for July Camping at Deception Pass! Book your own campsite near other SCC Families for a week of fun, July 5-8. Come for 1, 2 or all 3 nights. We recommend you book your campsite here soon as they are booking up fast! We recommend Lower Loop B (sites 147-168) for tents & Forest Loop for RVs.

Thanksgiving Food Drive
Thanksgiving Food Drive - SCC Children's Ministry is hosting a Thanksgiving Food Drive! Donations will go to Ronald McDonald House Seattle to benefit families with children undergoing treatment at Seattle Children’s Hospital or the Alaska Native Medical Center (ANMC). Please bring Non-perishable foods by Nov. 30th that fit the following criteria:
Small cans and packages only (16 oz or less)
Individual servings when possible
Direct from a store–not your cupboard
Commercially produced–not home-canned
Expiration date at least six months out

Fall Kick Off
We're kicking off the new school year on Sunday, September 7th! All kids will move up a grade. 6th graders will join Youth worship.
Parents (and kids) are encouraged to join us in the main sanctuary immediately following the service for a Children's & Youth Parent Meeting. Come learn about what this new year has in store for our Children's and Youth programming. Then join us downstairs in the fellowship hall for a leader meet and greet over lunch.
Summer of Service Donation Drive
Participate in our Summer of Service Donation Drive! Please bring backpacks and other essential items to benefit our partner organizations: REST and Elizabeth Gregory Home. Backpacks should be larger and gender neutral, appropriate for adult use. Please bring your donations to SCC by Sunday, August 31st. Donations of essentials can be made through Elizabeth Gregory Home's website linked here. Thank you for helping us support our local community partners in making a difference in people's lives.

SCC Night at the Ballpark
SCC is going to the Mariners and everyone's invited! Adults and kids alike are invited to join us for a night out at the ballpark. Come cheer on the Seattle Mariners against the Oakland A's on Saturday, August 23rd starting at 6:40 PM. Please RSVP by emailing Mike Pak by July 20th to reserve your seats. Price will be dependent on how many people join but will likely be ~$30 each.
Meals for Neighbors
Meals for Neighbors (formerly Feeding Ministry) brings together members to serve the community, as well as further bond and strengthen our own. We partner with Operation Nightwatch once a quarter to serve the community through hot and delicious meals (our teriyaki chicken with vegetables recipe!). Family BBQ & Playtime
Join us for a time of fellowship, food and fun at Edmonds City Park on Saturday, July 19th at 11 AM. There is a fun water park as well as a playground, so please bring swimsuits and towels, along with chairs and blankets.

Summer of Service
We are thrilled to announce this year's Summer of Service — a chance for our youth and their families to grow in their understanding of how Christians are called to engage with the world around them. Through both service and learning opportunities, students will connect with local organizations currently doing meaningful work in our communities. This year, we will be partnering with the following organizations:
Green Seattle Partnership [Jul 17, 9:30 AM - 1:30 PM] - Meet at SCC, then come along to Magnuson Park for a restoration workday as we learn about and care for God’s Creation, together. This event has passed.
Vision House [Jul 24, 7 - 9 PM] Meet us at SCC, as we learn about this transitional housing program that helps break the cycle of homelessness for families with children. This workday includes the opportunity to help make blankets for families and participate in a drive for crucial supplies.
Penny’s Place [Jul 26, 10:45 AM - 2:30 PM] Join us at Penny’s Place confidential Women’s Shelter where we will serve and learn about the transitional housing program for women and children fleeing domestic violence and trafficking. Register here to RSVP. You must register and agree to the confidentiality statement to receive the address for the secure Safe House.
REST [Aug 22, 7-9PM] Meet us at SCC for a time of learning and discussion about what REST is doing to expand pathways to freedom, safety, and hope for survivors in order to end sex trafficking.
Elizabeth Gregory Home [Aug 29, 7-9PM] Meet us at SCC, for a time of learning and participate in a donation drive. Come learn about what Elizabeth Gregory Home is doing to provide a welcoming and respectful refuge where women who are experiencing homelessness, trauma, or economic insecurity have access to a caring community and critical resources.
We want to ensure everyone has the opportunity to participate. If you or your student needs a ride or help coordinating carpools, we’re happy to assist. Please don’t hesitate to reach out so we can make it work! These events are open to Adults to come and learn and serve alongside our youth. Let’s serve together, learn together, and grow together this summer. We’re excited for what God will do in and through our youth during these weeks. Volleyball Fellowship
Looking for an opportunity to fellowship with others over a friendly game of volleyball? Join our volleyball ministry on Sunday, July 6th from 3-6 PM at Spartan Rec Center in Shoreline. Summer Explorers
Join our Children's Ministry every Sunday in July and August for Summer Explorers, as we discover God through His creation. Pre-K & K-5 students are all invited to join us in this exciting summer series as we dive into some hands-on fun and learning. I am currently looking for adult volunteers to partner with me each Sunday in preparing an exciting activity, game or craft to support our weekly Bible Story Lesson. Facilities Use Request
All groups seeking to use church facilities for other than normal, liturgical events, must request use of the facilities at least four weeks in advance. Refer to the Facilities Use Policy of Seattle Community Church for additional information. If you'd prefer to fill out a hard copy, you can download the form here and then submit via email or turn in a printed copy to the main office. Contact ministry@seattlechurch.org with any questions.

Reimbursement Request
Download a copy of the Reimbursement Form here. Please email your completed form to finance@seattlechurch.org along with itemized receipts. Or submit a hard copy to the finance bin in the SCC main office. All forms must be approved by the appropriate ministry leader. Please allow 1-3 weeks for reimbursement checks to be processed. All receipts must be submitted to Finance Box by December 24th of current year to be processed.
